has released a report on executive recruitment demand in Vietnam for the second quarter of 2015 based on its clients' job demands during that period.Statistics show that FMCG/Retail led the field in the need for senior personnel, with 13% of the total demand in the second quarter. Positions in demand included sales supervisors, sales managers and national head of sales. The reason for this surge in demand is that foreign retail firms have entered the Vietnamese market and are expanding their businesses. Navigos Search forecasts that this field will continue to lead in the third quarter.

The manufacturing sector ranked second with 12% of total demand, while electrical engineering and textiles & garments shared third position.

While accounting for only 3% of the whole demand, real estate has risen from the first quarter thanks to the gradual recovery of the market.

Regarding salary ranges, around 10 C-level positions were offering salaries of at least VND100 million per month in the second quarter. The highest monthly salary of VND174 million was paid to a finance director. Two general directors in the manufacturing sector received VND147 million each per month excluding benefits.
