THÙA THIÊN - HUẾ — UNIQLO Vietnam, in collaboration with the Hope Foundation, has donated essential medical equipment valued at VNĐ200 million to Hue Central Hospital, aiming to support the treatment of paediatric patients.

The donation includes four infusion pumps, two syringe pumps and one patient monitor — devices critical for accurate dosing, continuous medication delivery and vital sign monitoring. These tools are expected to enhance the hospital’s capacity to care for young patients, particularly those with serious conditions.

Funding for the donation was sourced from sales of the UTme! 'Tinh Tế Hòa Nếp Huế' collection, which was launched in March to mark the opening of UNIQLO’s new store at AEON Mall Huế. The collection celebrates the cultural heritage of the former imperial city, and a portion of the proceeds was pledged to community initiatives.

Along with the equipment handover, UNIQLO and the Hope Foundation presented gifts, including UV-protective jackets and other gift boxes,  to 100 paediatric patients. A painting session themed 'Things I Love' was also held, creating a cheerful and therapeutic environment for the children.

Dr Hoàng Thị Lan Hương, Deputy Director of Hue Central Hospital, said the contribution offers both practical and emotional support for children undergoing treatment and expressed gratitude for the timely assistance.

General Director of UNIQLO Vietnam Akiyama Naoki reaffirmed the company’s commitment to community engagement, saying the donation reflects the brand’s hope to contribute positively to local healthcare services.
