One hundred financial consultants (50 pairs) beat hundreds of others to enter the final round of the “Banca:100” contest organised by Prudential Vietnam at Nguyễn Du Gymnasium in HCM City’s District 1 on August 21.
Launched at the beginning of July, the contest, with the theme “Quality makes confidence,” was dedicated to bancassurance sales staff.
It attracted more than 300 participants from Prudential and its seven partner banks across the country, with the pairs, one from Prudential and one from the banks, having at least one insurance agent code between them.
The 50 pairs in the final round competed in a knowledge contest and question and answer and counter-argument rounds.
‘PP có nhau’ team consisting of Nguyễn Thu Thủy from Prudential and Nguyễn Thị Thảo Trinh from PVcomBank won the final.
The Banca:100 contest is an initiative on top of its training programmes and control of and improvements to its quality of sales to fulfil its commitment to improve the quality of bancassurance consultants in its journey to promote the "new generation of bancassurance," the company said.
Prudential and its banking partners wanted to improve the capabilities of consultants by strengthening knowledge and skills and improving customer understanding through the contest, it added.
Nguyễn Thọ Nam, Chief Partnership Distribution Officer at Prudential Vietnam Assurance Private Ltd, said the theme “Quality makes confidence” underscored the importance of the quality of consultations in building trust among customers.
“This is also a testament to Prudential's commitment to contributing to the healthy and sustainable development of the bancassurance industry and taking the industry to the next level.
"Prudential expected that through the contest, consultants will get more motivation and confidence in the work they are pursuing to constantly learn and improve their professional skills to better serve customers and fully win their trust.” — VNS
