LÂM ĐỒNG — CJ Group has handed over a hundred scholarships worth VNĐ450 million (US$17,700) to outstanding students from primary school to university level, in the Central Highlands Province of Lâm Đồng.

These scholarships - part of CJ's annual scholarship programme - aim to support students from disadvantaged backgrounds who have demonstrated exceptional effort and academic achievement, the company said in a statement. 

In addition to financial support, the students also received learning tools, valued at over VNĐ60 million from CJ Group, reflecting its dedication to providing comprehensive assistance to enhance their educational journey.

Vice President of CJ Group and Head of the CSR Promotion Committee, Min Hee Kyung, said: "We hope these scholarships not only provide financial support but also inspire the students to strive further and become valuable contributors to society. CJ is committed to expanding this programme so that more students can pursue their dreams of knowledge and success."

Since its inception in 2013, CJ Group’s scholarship programme in Lâm Đồng Province has created opportunities for over 1,200 students to pursue education and personal growth.
