Big C supermarket has launched a programme called “Always low price” at all of its 35 stores across the country that will run through this year.

It applies to 7,000 essential items of daily use, including dairy (powder milk, fresh milk, and yoghurt), condiments (cooking oil, seasoning, and fish sauce), sugar, coffee, washing products (fabric softener, detergent liquid), personal care products (shampoo, conditioner, bath gel), fruits and vegetables, fresh food.

Big C and Central Group Vietnam are carrying out programmes such as buying agricultural produce directly from farmers, supporting small and medium sized enterprises and improving their logistics chain.

A big C executive said: “Through this programme, we want to meet … the demand for good food and clothing at optimal prices.” — VNS
