Bamboo Airways announces new leadership

Bamboo Airways JSC has elected Lê Thái Sâm as its new chairman of the board of directors, the airline announced on Tuesday.

Lê Thái Sâm, who replaces his predecessor Oshima Hideki, currently owns shares equivalent to over 50 per cent of Bamboo Airways' charter capital.

Following its new structure of the leadership and management board, Oshima Hideki will serve as the standing deputy CEO. Lê Bá Nguyên and Nguyễn Ngọc Trọng will hold the posts of vice chairman of the board of directors (BOD).

Nguyễn Ngọc Trọng will also act as general director, replacing Nguyễn Minh Hải, who resigned previously.

The company's Board of Directors has also approved the resignation of four members, including Oshima Hideki, Chairman of the Board of Directors; Nguyễn Ngọc Trọng, standing deputy CEO; Doãn Hữu Đoàn and Phan Đình Tuệ, vice president.

Bamboo Airways said that the reorganisation of the BOD is part of the process to strengthen the entire personnel system. — VNS
