An Phat Holdings Group (APH) received two awards at ASEAN Business Awards (ABA) 2020 under the ASEAN Business and Investment Summit (ASEAN BIS) 2020 which opened on Friday.
An Phat Holdings Group (APH) received two awards at ASEAN Business Awards (ABA) 2020 under the ASEAN Business and Investment Summit (ASEAN BIS) 2020 which opened on Friday.
The group was awarded for its Skills Development category while Dang Thi Quynh Phuong, general director of its member company was honoured as Young Entrepreneur.
The ASEAN Business Advisory Council (ASEAN-BAC) highly valued Phuong for her leadership as well as contributions to create a business network for their AnEco fully biodegradable products and AnBio fully biodegradable raw materials. She has helped the group expand its market to many foreign countries in the world.
The awards have recognised the group’s efforts in developing skilled human resource despite of impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, toward a dynamic and competitive ASEAN economic community.
Speaking at the award ceremony, Dinh Xuan Cuong, APH’s vice chairman cum CEO said: “The ABA 2020 is an international recognition for APH’s human resource development activities during the past time. In addition to production and business activities, we always attach great importance to the human factor. We will continue to build and develop high-quality, skilled human resources that are also the main factor helping APH continuously develop.”
With a large number of employees, APH has always valued qualified staff.
Established 20 years ago, APH has been developed from a small firm to one of the leading hi-tech and environmentally friendly plastics producers in Southeast Asia. The group now has more than 5,000 staff with 15 member companies operating in many sectors such as fully biodegradable products and raw materials, packaging, interior, precision machining and industrial park property.
In the third quarter of the year, APH posted 21 per cent profit increase from the same period last year while its packaging exports also represented a 12 per cent year-on-year increase.
Its APH stock would be one of four Vietnamese shares listed in MSCI Frontier Markets Small Cap Index next month after only three months of listing, helping them increase capital access ability to investment funds.
APH’s products have been exported to 70 countries in Europe, the US, Japan, South Korea and Singapore. An Phat Holdings targeted to reach a revenue of US$1 billion by 2025. — VNS
