Alibaba.com, a leading platform for global business-to-business (B2B) e-commerce has launched its comprehensive suite of online logistics services for Vietnamese sellers to streamline their international trade processes.

Amid the explosive growth of cross-border e-commerce, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Việt Nam are presented with new opportunities to participate in global trade.

However, they also face significant challenges, particularly in optimising their export processes. Logistics has been identified as a major obstacle, as businesses must find effective and reliable shipping solutions to ensure timely delivery while minimising costs and risks.

Recognising this, Alibaba.com has partnered with leading international express delivery companies including UPS and DHL, with the goal of supporting the export of Vietnamese goods to over 200 countries and regions around the world. Alibaba.com has formed collaborations with Vietnamese payment organisations such as ZaloPay and MomoPay to facilitate quick and convenient freight payments.

The service not only supports fast and reliable international shipping options but also integrates the entire logistics process - from packaging and warehousing to delivery - helping businesses optimise costs and time. Through its international express delivery partners, Alibaba.com will ensure that goods are transported safely and on schedule, while also providing detailed order tracking tools, customs advisory services and comprehensive cargo insurance solutions.

These features help businesses minimise risks and enhance their competitiveness in the international market.

Vianne Wang, Head of Global Supply Chain Services at Alibaba.com, said: “Online logistics services are essential for SMEs in global trade. They not only streamline operations and reduce costs, but also empower businesses to reach global markets with ease.

"By leveraging advanced technologies and comprehensive solutions, Alibaba.com helps support Vietnam’s SMEs in enhancing their competitiveness, ensuring timely deliveries and responding swiftly to market demands, ultimately fueling their growth and success in the global arena.”

Roger Lou, Head of South and Southeast Asia at Alibaba.com, said: “Việt Nam holds a unique position as the first market in South and Southeast Asia to benefit from Alibaba.com’s complete suite of online transaction services.

"This represents a significant milestone for Việt Nam in the global trade landscape. The launch of Alibaba.com’s new online logistics services reaffirms our commitment to helping Vietnamese businesses in their pursuit of success in international markets." — VNS
