AkzoNobel, a global leader in paints and coatings, has unveiled its new corporate purpose “Paint the Future”, encapsulating its enduring passion for sustainable development and transforming lives.

The new purpose was introduced to AkzoNobel's partners and customers at its customer conferences held last week in HCM City and Hà Nội.

Addressing the conferences, Nguyễn My Lan, general director of AkzoNobel Vietnam’s Decorative Paints, said: “Paint the Future is more than just a slogan; it is our new foundation and guiding principle for our strategies and actions in the future. This purpose is an inspiration, encouraging us to think creatively, push boundaries, and find the most effective solutions towards sustainable development goals.”

“With the commitment to focus on customers as well as quality products and services, Paint the Future will become the company's guideline for our future strategies and activities, helping AkzoNobel continue to bring more effective and sustainable solutions and create a brighter future for Việt Nam," she added.

At the events, AkzoNobel leaders also explained their product technologies and allowed guests to directly experience the outstanding features of some products, such as Dulux EasyClean and Dulux Aquatech, its two outstanding products in the Vietnamese market, suitable for the needs of Vietnamese customers in harsh weather conditions.

Throughout its more than 20-year journey in Việt Nam, the company has provided a portfolio of innovative paints and coatings solutions tailored to the market, continuously developing and upgrading products to meet customers' increasingly diverse needs.

AkzoNobel has participated in and organised a variety of relevant community and societal initiatives such as repainting lighthouses and renovating schools nationwide.
