In less than three weeks after it began its “Accumulating Stamps to Exchange for High-class Gift,” promotion programme, the Saigon Union of Trading Co-operatives (Saigon Co.op) has given away more than 4,000 gifts to shoppers.

Many customers are very keen to participate in the programme.

Under the programme, which runs from the end of March to July this year, customers with Co.opmart cards of all categories will get a stamp for every VND200,000 (US$8.7) they spend at Co.opmart, Co.opXtra or Co.op Food.

While the combined value of the bills that can be exchanged for gifts may not be small, the gifts that customers get from Co.opmart is high-class and of higher value than is usually given by retailers to their customers.

Importantly, this is a significant additional benefit since shoppers can also accumulate points as usual in their Co.opmart card to enjoy benefits while getting the stamps to exchange for the highly attractive gifts.

The more stamps that customers collect, the higher the value of the gift they will receive.

There are seven sets of crystals on offer: sets of two low glasses, two high glasses, two red wine glasses, two white wine glasses, two 16cm bowls, a 24cm bowl, and a 1.1-litre water or wine bottle.

All are produced in and imported from Germany, and not available in Viet Nam.

More information about the programme is available at Co.opmart, Co.opXtra and Co.op Food supermarkets. — VNS
