3-day weekend boom expected as Co.opmart, Co.opXtra roll out buy 1 get 1 free promotion

To welcome the 100th Co.opmart supermarket, Co.opmart and Co.opXtra supermarkets nation-wide have launched a series of attractive promotions, including programmes offering sharp discounts.

A programme called “Buy 1 get 1 free, maximum saving” with prices reduced to between VND19,000 and VND339,000 will run during the next weekend from October 26 to 28, and apply to more than 50 essential household products such as towels, food-wrapping film, pillows, and detergent liquids, and their sales are expected to boom at Co.opmart and Co.opXtra supermarkets across the country.

On Friday (October 26) the prices of a 500ml pack of Aquala hand wash liquid soap will be discounted to VND44,000, a 1.8kg pack of Surf liquid detergent with grass and flower scent to VND67,000, a 4kg pack of Lix green tea dish washing liquid to VND98,000 and so on.

On Saturday (October 27) the prices of a 1litre bottle of Mr Muscle floor cleansing liquid will be cut to VND28,800, a pack of 80 unscented Manamy wet wipes with a piece for refilling to VND35,500 and a 2.4 kg pack of Ariel Matic Downy detergent liquid to VND177,000.

On Sunday (October 28) the price a 1.5 litre pack of Downy fabric softener will cost VND99,000 and a 3.8kg pack of Lix concentrated detergent liquid will cost VND152,200.

To buy at these discounted prices, customers have to meet certain billing conditions.

On the other hand, from now through October 31 customers who have silver/gold /platinum Co.opmart membership cards will also get preferential treatment when they shop at Co.opmart and Co.opXtra supermarket chains.

For instance, when they buy products such as dumplings, fish or shrimp balls, fruit juices, milk and saffron powders of Viet Sin, Coca-Cola, Honimore and other brands, they will get three to six times the normal reward points.

Customers with a bill worth VND1 million and above will get 100 reward points.
