HCM CITY (Biz Hub) — The first Vietnam Motorcycle Show that has opened in HCM City has attracted some top international names.
Yamaha has brought its 04 GEN blending modern and classic designs, Suzuki's GSX-RR MotoGP represents a breakthrough in the design of engine power and Ducati is showcasing its Scrambler 800cc.
SYM's Wolf SB 300 comes with classic retro style.
Vespa is presenting the 946 Emporio Armani and the Vespa PX 70th anniversary limited edition.
Piaggio has two popular brands to show off: Aprilia and Moto Guzzi, which marks its 95th anniversary this year.
In all, there are more than 170 models on display by Honda, Piaggio, Suzuki, SYM, Yamaha Benelli, Kawasaki, and Ducati.
The show also offers visitors a comprehensive look at the motorcycle industry in Việt Nam with nearly 100 booths put up by top brands in supporting industries, insurance and banking such as Total, Motul, NGK, Idemitsu, Pinaco, Battery GS, Casumina, IRC, Nissin, Helmit A Chau, KMC, and Osaki.
"This event is a display of future motorcycle technology trends," Yano Takeshi, general director of Yamaha Motor Vietnam and chairman of VAMM said.
The event, on at the Saigon Exhibition & Convention Center in HCM City, will run until April 10, attracting an expected 100,000 visitors. — VNS
