Son Nam International Transport Company Limited and Green and Smart Mobility Joint Stock Company (GSM) have collaborated to launch the MaiLove electric taxi service in Nghệ An province.
The service aims to promote green transportation and contribute to making Nghệ An a Green City.
Sơn Nam has rented a total of 305 cars from GSM, including 255 VinFast VF 5 cars and 50 VinFast VF e34 cars, to operate the MaiLove electric taxi service. Initially, 50 VinFast VF 5 cars will be put into operation, gradually replacing the existing fleet of gasoline cars.
Customers in Nghệ An can book a MaiLove electric taxi by calling the hotline 02383 57 57 57. GSM plans to integrate the MaiLove electric taxi calling service into their purely electric multi-service platform, Xanh SM. This integration will enable customers to easily book a car through the application, receive fare estimates in advance, and make payments in various forms.
The Green SM taxi brand is operated by GSM, while there are 27 other businesses and partner units collaborating with VinFast and GSM to convert their vehicles to electric taxis. This collaborative effort has increased the total number of electric taxis across the country to more than 20,000 vehicles, significantly promoting the green transformation of transportation in Việt Nam. — VNS
