HCM CITY (Biz Hub) — Nearly 400 vehicles and drivers participated in Car Care Day 2015 organised late last week in HCM City by Benh Vien O To and Bridgestone Viet Nam.

During the event, customers learned about car maintenance, vehicle operation and road safety through a series of games and guiding boards.

Each car was taken care of for 65 minutes, with eight steps including examination of tyres, batteries, interior and exterior, and spare parts, done by technicians from partner companies of Shell, GS, BMW, Bosch, 3M, and Liberty.

With the message "Do not text and drive", the event was designed to promote safe driving within the community.

"Texting while driving forms an unconscious habit that is even more dangerous than many others. The dangers of distracted driving can lead to death and danger to all road users," said Tran Hong Ninh, general director of Benh Vien O To.

In a related matter, six children who had been injured due to traffic accidents received donations raised from the event. — VNS
