HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Viet Nam's Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group (VNPT) on June 1 signed a memorandum of understanding with Israeli company One Smart Star to develop a business information search service.
Customers need to type "*" and four encrypted digits for each enterprise to get information on businesses. The service can be accessed via various means of communication such as fixed phones, fax, mobile phones and email.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, VNPT's Deputy General Director Nghiem Phu Hoan said the two firms would build an appropriate business co-operation model to bring more facilities to customers and enterprises, reducing the gap between them.
One Smart Star's CEO Hemy Tzubary expressed his pride in getting an opportunity to establish the company's services in Viet Nam, an important part of the Asian market. He said the service would bring many new opportunities for co-operation between Viet Nam and Israel.
State-run VNPT, established in 1995, specialises in providing information technology and telecommunications products and services to local organisations, enterprises and individuals. It has established business co-operation with more than 250 partners in several countries and territories.
