HCM CITY (Biz Hub) — Online food delivery marketplace foodpanda/hellofood has been named the best e-commerce startup at the 2104 European Tech Startup Awards (The Europas), which were held in the UK last week.

Since its launch less than two years ago the company has successfully expanded its services to over 40 countries.

As part of its successful world-wide expansion, the company has partnered with over 30,000 restaurants.

The online marketplace helps restaurants increase delivery sales through online and mobile platforms and provides them with constantly evolving technology and analytics.

In Viet Nam, it has co-operated with many famous brandnames such as Pizza Hut to deliver their food to customers.

The Europas, founded in 2009, are the premier awards for Europe's best startups, honouring the most forward thinking, progressive, and innovative tech companies in the EU. — VNS
