DA NANG (Biz Hub) — The Ministry of Information and Communications (MIC) will continue to delay a two-year-old ruling to issue licences to cable-television service suppliers.
The move is aimed at re-organising and minimising the number of such firms.
According to Decision No 20/2011/QD-TTg on the regulation of pay TV, on May 15, 2013 all businesses providing cable TV service had to apply for a licence to establish networks before seeking licences to provide cable TV services.— VNS
