LAM DONG (Biz Hub) — People in Da Lat city will be able to access wireless internet for free starting in mid-December, said Nguyen Viet Van, director of Lam Dong Province's Department of Information and Communications.
About VND6 billion (US$285,700) will be invested to build the infrastructure, including VND1 billion ($47,600) from the state budget and the remainder contributed by society.
The infrastructure is expected to be complete in time for the province's culture and tourism week, which includes the annual Flower Festival from December 29 to January 5.
Four major tourism destinations have already installed WiFi: Hoi An ancient town, Da Nang city, Ha Long city and Hue city. — VNS
