DA NANG (Biz Hub) — The central city of Da Nang and Timisoara, Romania, signed a co-operation deal on investment, trade, tourism, high-tech, information technology, culture and education last week. The deal aims to boost co-operation between the two cities in various fields.
Timisoara is the second largest city in Romania after Bucharest, but two-way trade between Da Nang and Romani remains small, around US$50,000. The central city, situated at the end of the East-West Economic Corridor, has drawn 286 FDI projects with an investment of $3.3 billion. — VNS
