HA NOI (Biz Hub) ─ The charter capital of Viettel, the military telecommunications company, will be increased from VND50 trillion (US$2.38 billion) to VND100 trillion ($4.76 billion).
This is in accordance with Decree No. 101/2014/ND-CP, regulating the organisation and operation of the company, which was issued earlier this month and will take effect on December 22.
The state-owned company provides telecommunications, information technology (IT), broadcasting and postal services, as well as IT equipment production. It is the largest mobile network operator in Viet Nam with about 40.5 per cent of domestic market share. — VNS
