HA NOI (Biz Hub) — National carrier Vietnam Airlines has announced that it will launch two new flights to Japan, from Ha Noi to Haneda, and Da Nang to Narita, from July this year.
The seven Ha Noi-Haneda flights per week will start on July 1, while the four flights per week on the Airbus A321 between the central Da Nang city and Narita will begin on July 16.
Deputy General Director of Vietnam Airlines Trinh Ngoc Thanh said the new flights will connect the three major cities of Viet Nam, namely Ha Noi, HCM City and Da Nang, with the four Japanese cities of Tokyo, Osaka, Fukuoka and Nagoya.
The new flights will bring the total Vietnam Airlines flight routes from Viet Nam to Japan to 10, with a total of 62 flights per week.
On the occasion of the launch of the new routes, Vietnam Airlines is offering return tickets on the Ha Noi-Haneda route for US$299, available for sale till June 15 for flights between July 1 and 15. The return tickets for the Da Nang-Narita route, priced at $349, will be available till December 31 for flights between July 16 and December 31.
