HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Viet Nam has shipped abroad nearly 4.5 million tonnes of rice worth more than US$2 billion as of September 18, 2014.
Figures from the Viet Nam Food Association also showed that the price of five-per cent broken rice grains from the country was worth $445 per tonne last September 19. This is $5 lower than that of the previous week and $10 lower than that of last month but $85 higher than that of the same period last year.— VNS
