AN GIANG (Biz Hub)— More than 200 foreign and Vietnamese companies are taking part in an international trade fair that opened yesterday at the Xuan To Industrial Park in An Giang Province.

They have set up 500 booths selling farm produce and seafood; food and foodstuff' garments; footwear; electronics; furniture and interior decoration items; construction materials; and many other consumer products.

The 2013 Tinh Bien - An Giang Trade Fair in the border district of Tinh Bien aims to promote business and investment in the Greater Mekong Sub-region and strengthen ties between Cambodia and Viet Nam. It also seeks to introduce goods from the Mekong Delta and HCM City to customers from Cambodia and other ASEAN member countries.

The fair will go on until June 2. - VNS
