Thai tourism authority appoints new HCM City officers

HCM CITY (Biz Hub) — The Tourism Authority of Thailand has appointed new representative officers in HCM City.

Napasorn Kakai, 56, has been appointed director. She has 30 years working for the tourism authority in many positions at its head office, offices in Phuket and Surat Thani and at the Krabi Tourist Information Centre.

She was the assistant director in the Sydney office from 2007-2010 and director of the Nakhon Si Thammarat office from 2011 to 2015.

The office has also appointed Wirote Phaimuanghung, 47, as assistant director in HCM City. He has worked for the Thai tourism authority since 1994. — VNS
