HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Saha Group, Thailand's largest consumer product conglomerate, is negotiating with its Japanese partner for joint expansion of its logistics and property ventures in Viet Nam next year, Bangkokpost reported.

The group was approached by its Japanese partner for joint expansion in the country, because the Thai conglomerate has had a presence here for years, a Saha executive said.

Saha has experience in logistics and product distribution throughout Viet Nam. Saha Vietnam Co was set up to distribute consumer products in the country via retail outlets. Currently, Saha and a Japanese company are involved in negotiations over the joint venture.

"We want to invest more abroad. In Viet Nam, we're interested in logistics, property and wholesale," the executive told Bangkokpost. — VNS
