Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc has appointed Ho Sy Hung deputy chairman of Viet Nam’s Committee for State Capital Management.
Hung was previously director of the Enterprise Development Agency under the Ministry of Planning and Investment, and has 15 years of experience at the ministry.
Hung was born in 1968 in Nghe An Province. He holds a BA and Ph.D in economics and national economy management, and was appointed an associate professor in 2012.
Hung is the second deputy chairman on the super committee, which manages 19 State-owned economic groups and corporations.
The committee’s chairman is Nguyen Hoang Anh, former secretary of Cao Bang Province’s Party Committee, while Nguyen Thi Phu Ha, also from the Ministry of Planning and Investment, was appointed deputy chairwoman of the committee when it was launched in late September..
The committee will eventually have four deputy chairpeople. The PM is waiting to fill the two vacancies.
