HA NOI (Biz Hub) — The Spring Fair 2016 will take place at the Giang Vo Exhibition and Fair Centre in Ha Noi from January 27 to February 5, the event's organisers announced on January 25.

More than 800 enterprises from 35 provinces and cities nationwide are expected to participate in the upcoming event, showcasing essential products and specialties from all parts of the country at approximately 1,000 booths.

On display will be food and foodstuff, beverage, textiles and garments, footwear, and electronics, in addition to furniture, pottery and handicrafts.

The annual fair will provide a good opportunity for domestic businesses to introduce their products in order to better serve purchasing demands prior to the Lunar New Year (Tet) and encourage local people to use Vietnamese products, organisers said.

The previous event saw the participation of 500 domestics firms. —VNS
