DONG NAI (Biz Hub) — The southern province of Dong Nai was enthusiastic about attracting investment in its infrastructure, particularly transport, and will create optimum conditions for construction investors, including those from Japan.

Vice Chairwoman of the provincial People' Committee, Phan Thi My Thanh, delivered this statement during a meeting on Saturday with a delegation of Japanese businesses led by Takahashi Harumitsu from the business and technology daily newspaper Nikkan Kogyo Shimbun.

Harumitsu said that their visit to Dong Nai was meant to find opportunities to invest in public-private partnership (PPP) models.

The Japanese said they hope to be updated on the locality's economic situation, incentives and planned projects, adding that they would introduce Dong Nai to their fellow investors in Japan. —VNS
