HA NOI (Biz Hub) — The Japanese group Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Ltd will build a second factory in 2014 to manufacture spare parts for Boeing 777 aircraft in Viet Nam.

Hirotaka Masuda, general director of MHI Viet Nam, told Biz Hub: "The new factory will be adjacent to the first one and it will begin operations about one year later. We started production in Viet Nam in 2009 and our output is now stable and at a high quality. That's why we decided to expand our business in Viet Nam."

Meanwhile, the factory in Nagoya, Japan, will manufacture spare parts for the Boeing 787, as the aircraft maker plans to accelerate production of this model.
