HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Solar Park Korea Company proposes to build a solar power plant in the central Ha Tinh Province, with an annual capacity of producing 300MW, reported.
The plant is expected to cost US$550 million to $600 million.
During a recent meeting with provincial leaders, Solar Park Korea representatives said after making a survey, the company decided to choose Ha Tinh for its project due to the province's investment policies and its potential for solar energy development.
He said that his company needed about 500ha for its project, which would manufacture solar batteries for export and employ 100 local workers. He asked the authorities to facilitate the implementation of the project as soon as possible. — VNS
