Returning home to enjoy Tet

Monday, Jan 27, 2014 13:10

The Lunar New Year, or Tet, will start on the first day of the first lunar month, though the celebration of the nation's biggest holiday began one week earlier in many places throughout Viet Nam. Many people leave Ha Noi to return to their home towns to enjoy Tet with their families. They are workers, students and Government staff who have one thing in common: being in a hurry, but always smiling because they are going to meet their families. Our photographer, Truong Van Vi, brings us a series of photos showcasing many activities of Hanoians associated with this time of year, during the celebration of The Year of The Horse.
