HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung has asked the Ministry of Information and Communications to issue an official document to manage free call and text message service on the Internet (OTT service).
The Prime Minister urged the Ministry to enhance its management of phone prices for incoming international calls made to Viet Nam and roaming fees for international subscribers.
The Ministry was required to strengthen supervision of domestic telecom firms responsible for providing international call services to Viet Nam, and co-operate with the Ministry of Public Security to penalise offending providers. — VNS
