HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Pepper exports slumped 11.6 per cent to 9,000 tonnes in January, from a year ago, earning US$49 million, according to a report by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.
The value of the pepper exports also slipped 28.6 per cent from the same period last year, the report said, adding that during the reviewed period, the United States, Singapore, United Arab Emirates, India and Netherlands were the five biggest importers of Vietnamese pepper. — VNS
