HA NOI(Biz Hub) — The PEB Steel Buildings Company Ltd has kicked off the construction of its fifth plant in the Dong Xuyen Industrial Zone in the southern Ba Ria-Vung Tau province.

According to PEB, the plant covering 20,000 square metres in the industrial zone, will use its own advanced technologies and is expected to be completed in 150 days to mark its 20th year of doing business in Viet Nam.

PEB Steel, which is owned by the Europe-based PEB Group, started operating in South-East Asia in 1994. Since then, it has supplied material for more than 3,200 buildings and was instrumental in setting very high standards of engineering and fabrication.

Prior to the construction of this new plant, PEB Steel had five fabrication facilities, including four factories in Viet Nam and one factory in India, which boast a total capacity of more than 120,000 metric tonnes of pre-engineered steel annually. —VNS
