HA NOI (Biz Hub) — The expanded Terminal T1 of Noi Bai International Airport in Ha Noi was officially put into operation on December 29.

The project was built on 25,000 sq.m with a design capacity of serving 6 million passengers per year.

Vietnam Airlines also announced plans to move 10 domestic-flight counters from Noi Bai International Airport Terminal 1's Wing B to Wing E by December 30.

Moving from the first to the second floor, the affected flight counters serve trips to Vinh, Dong Hoi, Chu Lai, Quy Nhon, Tuy Hoa, Da Lat, Pleiku, Buon Ma Thuot, Can Tho and Phu Quoc. Other services such as the business class lounge and the lost & found desk will also be relocated to Wing E.

Initially, Vietnam Airlines will open seven counters, numbered from 119 to 126.
