HCM CITY (Biz Hub) — A new bridge over the Ca Cam River in District 7 connecting Tan Phu and Phu Thuan wards with the district's administrative and commercial centre and the Phu My Hung New Urban Area opened to traffic on September 22.

It was funded by Keppel Land and Tan Truong, joint venture partners who have developed the Riviera Point apartment project in the vicinity.

Riviera Point is the tallest tower in the district and has a 500m frontage on the Ca Cam River.

Its residents can enjoy direct connectivity to the central business district, which is a 15-minute drive away, and international schools such as the British Vietnamese International School and the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology besides a host of retail and lifestyle amenities in the adjacent Phu My Hung township.

Its phase 1A, comprising 549 units, was completed and handed over to buyers in 2014. More than 95 per cent of the development has been sold.

Following the success of phase 1, Keppel Land will be launching 518 units in Phase 1B, The View at Riviera Point, in October 2016. — VNS
