The 27th Viet Nam International Jewelry Fair (VIJF) kicked off on Thursday in HCM City, showcasing a wide range of diamonds, gemstones, gold and silver jewellery and the latest jewellery-making equipment.

The fair attracted the participation of 240 booths from domestic and foreign enterprises.

Besides famous local names such as SJC, DOJI, PNJ, Diamond World and Loc Phuc, the event also showcase products of jewellery brands from Italy, Turkey, Thailand, Sri Lanka, Poland, Cambodia and China.

This year, VIJF is divided into several flexible zones to create favourable conditions for visitors and consumers to purchase. They include the domestic and international jewelry zone, the diamond zone, the precious and semiprecious stones area, the equipment and jewellery technology area, the after-sales service area, warranty and reception areas and a negotiation area for enterprises.

The fair offers opportunities for co-operation and business development between jewellery enterprises and consumers, said Dao Cong Thang, head of VIJF 2018’s Organising Board and deputy director of the Saigon Jewelry Company Limited.

The event will run until November 12 at Phu Tho Indoor Stadium in District 11, HCM City. — VNS
