HA NOI (Biz Hub) — The domestic retail prices of oil and petroleum went up from 3pm on September 18, following the rise in global prices.

Following a joint decision made by the ministries of industry and trade and finance, petrol and oil retailers increased the prices of RON 92 and RON 95 gasoline by more than VND600 to touch VND17,950 ($0.8) per litre.

The price of diesel has risen by VND576 per litre, while that of kerosene and mazut has gone up by VND513 and VND297 per litre, respectively.

This is the first increase in petrol prices after reductions during the last three months.

The petrol price was cut five times since June this year.—VNS
