HCM CITY (Biz Hub) — Ten French companies, operating in the oil and gas sector, will participate in the 10th ASEAN Council on Petroleum (ASCOPE) Conference and Exhibition on November 28-30 in HCM City.
The French firms will meet their Vietnamese counterparts, and discuss mutual concerns and new technologies during business meetings organized by French Trade Commission UNIFRANCE.
France is ranked second worldwide in the industry due to seeing turnover that accounted for more than 90 per cent of the total profits in the global market. This performance is possible due to cutting-edge technological competence supported by ambitious research and development programs. French enterprises have acquired the know-how, equipment and legitimacy to ease their integration into the offshore and inshore oil and gas market.
ASCOPE, founded in 1975, is a regional cooperative organisation that includes national oil companies and authorities. Viet Nam Oil and Gas Group is one of 10 members in the organisation.
The exhibition is a highly anticipated meeting point for companies in the oil and gas sector. The three-day event will gather 300 exhibitors and expects more than 5,000 visitors this year. — VNS
