HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Viet Nam has emerged as South Korea's fourth biggest exporter, with a total turnover of US$2.2 billion for the first four months of this year, up 36 per cent year-on-year.
According to the General Department of Customs, in April alone, Viet Nam exported $550.4 million worth of goods to the market, mainly crude oil, textiles, seafood, coal, wood and timber, and rubber.
Textiles experienced the highest export turnover with $411.2 million, up 45.37 per cent, followed by crude oil with $396.7 million, up 366.2 per cent.
Last year, two-way trade topped $21.675 billion, with more than $15.956 billion coming from Viet Nam's exports. — VNS
