HA NOI (Biz Hub)— Viet Nam's export earnings from Mexico experienced a strong increase of 53 per cent in the past seven months to US$1.37 billion, according to the Industry and Trade Information Centre under the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
During the reviewed period, mobile and components saw the highest turnover growth at 176 per cent to $572 million, followed by computers, electronics and components at 84 per cent to $138 million.
Exports of machinery and equipment dropped by 13 per cent to $118 million.
The three groups of products currently made up 60 per cent of Viet Nam's total export value to Mexico. Other key Vietnamese exports to the market included coal, rubber, chemical products, garments and coffee.—VNS
