HA NOI (Biz Hub) — The General Department of Customs will give Authorised Economic Operator (AOE) recognition to eight enterprises by the end of this year.
This follows an online exchange organised by Hai Quan (Customs) online newspaper on Tuesday.
At the moment, 14 AOE recognised companies receive preference in customs procedures to cut costs and times for clearance of goods.
According to Nguyen Duong Thai, deputy general head of the General Department of Customs, the agency will sign a cooperative agreement on AEO companies with other countries in the near future. — VNS
