Da Nang International Airport provides the best quality of services among the three international airports in Viet Nam.
This was revealed in a passenger satisfaction survey by the Civil Aviation Authority of Viet Nam (CAAV).
The survey, conducted at the three international airports of Noi Bai, Da Nang and Tan Son Nhat, with 6,000 forms issued, included 25 criteria for assessing satisfaction of seven areas of the airport, including the departure terminal, aviation check counter, security screening area and immigration, as well as departure lounges, arrival terminals and public transport.
The score levels were 5 (exellence), 4 (good), 3 (average), 2 (bad) and 1 (very bad).
According to the general assessment of CAAV for the three airports, the staff attitude was ranked highest at 4.34 points, followed by the quality of passenger service which reached 4.33 points, higher than the first quarter.
The criteria for WiFi quality, free water heater, taxi volume and price, and noise levels in the terminal still needed further improvement to promote quality service.
The survey results showed that Da Nang Airport was in the lead, with an average score of 4.24 points, Noi Bai Airport was at 4.11 points and Tan Son Nhat airport was at 4.01 points.
However, the average score of Tan Son Nhat Airport remained quite good. Despite being ranked the lowest among the three airports for quality of service, the airport has made positive changes, with slightly higher scores, as compared to the first quarter, said CAAV. — VNS
