Around 200 domestic and international businesses are attending the Vietnam international agriculture fair, AgroViet 2019, which opened in Ha Noi on Thursday.

The fair will run until Sunday, featuring 250 booths of agricultural machineries and local specialties.

AgroViet 2019, the 19th of its kind held in Viet Nam, is organised by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD), to honour high-quality agricultural products, contributing to improving the position of Vietnam’s agricultural industry within the international arena.

Director of the Centre for Trade Promotion of Agriculture Dao Van Ho said AgroViet 2019 is an opportunity for all businesses to promote their activities on exchanging experience, introducing new technological advances in agricultural production, promoting brands, honouring high quality agricultural, forestry and fishery products, and handicrafts. — VNS
