Tay Ninh (Biz Hub)— The Chinese Sailun Tyres company in the Phuoc Dong-Boi Loi Industrial park, located in the southern province of Tay Ninh, began operating its new US$400 million tyre factory on November 30.

The factory, whose construction began in 2011, is the largest foreign invested company in Tay Ninh.The plant is capable of manufacturing 150,000 tyres per year, including semi-and full-steel radial tyres and specialty tyres, and is expected to employ nearly 1,000 people.—VNS
