NovaGroup on Sunday successfully at NovaWorld Phan Thiet in the central province of Binh Thuan.

It attracted thousands, including local authorities and the public, workers and students from Binh Thuan and neighbouring provinces.

‘Career Day’ was a chance especially for workers in Binh Thuan and HCM City but also the rest of the country to apply for jobs in the NovaGroup ecosystem.

The company had 500 vacancies for various positions like clerks, managers, supervisors, and department headsin its affiliate companies including Novaland, Nova Service, Nova Industry and Nova Capital Partners.

Speaking at the event, Nguyen Thi Minh Tam, director of the Binh Thuan Department of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs said: “With the goal of making tourism a key provincial economic sector, developing human resources in terms of quality and quantity is an important factor. I believe that the support of a prestigiousemployer like Nova Group will help us improve the quality of local human resources. The support will also create more jobs in the province, contributing to itssocio-economic development.”

Besides getting career counselling and face-to-face interviews with human resources experts, candidates also got the opportunity to network and learn about the ecosystem and working environment at NovaGroup. Visiting NovaWorld Phan Thiet was also a highlight for them.

At the event, the organisers awarded Chap Canh Uoc Mo scholarships worth VND300 million to outstanding students. They were given away by Nova College to students who live in difficult circumstances and are otherwise unable to continue with their studies.

Last week NovaGroup won the award for ‘Best Place to Work for in Asia 2022’ from HR Asia magazine.

Phung Quoc Bao, CCTV supervisor at NovaDreams Phan Thiet, said: “The working environment here is very good. I have a steady income. The company has many good policies for employees. In addition, we are also regularly trained to improve our skills. I hope to work here for a long time.”

In the context of the economy still facing greatdifficulties after the pandemic, NovaGroup has helpedstabilise the lives workers in many localities.

Also, the company’s efforts have contributed greatly to developing tourism as a key economic sector, thus fostering the growth of other sectors.

Employers at Vocational Day organised by NovaGroup

By 2025 NovaGroup and its member companies plan to develop 50 satellite urban areas and hospitality projects in 30 provinces and cities.

They plan to build and operate nine regional-standard theme parks, atattracting 36 million visitors who will use Nova Service’s products. Besides, around 2,000 supermarkets will be developed and 20,000 students will be trained. Over 250,000 sale points selling Nova Consumer’s FMCG products will be set up. Some 200 million foreign and Vietnamese consumers will be connected through the NovaID and Nova Tech applications.

To achieve sustainable development, and also gradually fulfil its target of creating international and regional-standard tourism destinations, NovaGroup needs more high-quality personnel to accompany the ‘Novator’ team in its upcoming journey.
