Katalon, Inc provider of a test automation platform, announced on Monday it has raised US$27 million in series A funding.

The lead investor is Elephant Venture Capital, a US venture capital firm focused on enterprise software, consumer internet and mobile markets.

The money will be used to grow the leadership team, accelerate the delivery of Katalon’s roadmap and expand go-to-market capabilities.

“Software is a crucial driver of business innovation and a key competitive tool for many enterprises” Vu Lam, its CEO, said.

The company recently launched the TestOps test orchestration platform to streamline the continuous testing process, and is working on features that will help make testing more efficient by leveraging AI capabilities.

Katalon, whose product operations centre is in Viet Nam, has a presence in over 160 countries. — VNS
