HA NOI (Biz Hub) — The 26th Vietnam Expo, which aims to enhance regional and international economic connectivity, will take place in Ha Noi from April 13-16, the organising board said in a press briefing yesterday in Ha Noi.

This year's fair is expected to cover 600 booths of 500 companies from 23 countries and territories. Apart from foreign enterprises, Vietnam Expo 2016 is also the destination of numerous local companies from 14 cities and provinces, especially well-known brands.

Jointly organised by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the National Trade and Advertising Joint Stock Company (Vinexad) over the last two decades, the annual event serves a bridge for promoting trade ties between Viet Nam and other countries, according to director of Viet Nam Trade Promotion Agency (Vietrade) Bui Huy Son.

With a view to supporting both domestic and foreign enterprises to learn about business connecting tools; consult on investment policies and enhance design competence for companies and products, Vietnam Expo 2016 will be a useful destination meeting all of requirements above through pavilions, Son said — VNS
