The Viet Nam Hardware and Hand Tools Expo 2018 will be held in HCM City from November 5 to December 8 at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC).
The event is the only exhibition dedicated to electrical equipment, accessories and spare parts. It will feature hand tools that are used in electrical repairs, mechanical manufacturing, wood processing, construction, ship-building and gardening.
“We are proud that our Huu Toan–branded generators have been exported to fastidious markets like South America and Japan,” said Ta Nguyen Huynh Nhu, Director of Huu Toan Co. “We are about to meet with partners from Sri Lanka and Malaysia.”
The event, organised by the Viet Nam National Trade Fair and Advertising Company (Vinexad), will include a series of presentations for enterprises and public visitors.
Among the many events, some notable seminars include “The Structure of Construction - New Techniques and Methods of Application in Viet Nam” and “Enhancing Living Standards and Home Improvement: Trends and Best Practices in The Global Manufacturing Chain.”
In 2017, the exhibition welcomed 218 presenters from 16 countries and territories including Japan, Belgium, Denmark, the Netherlands, South Korea, Switzerland and Taiwan. There were nearly 12,800 visitors.
“We heard about the show 6 months ago,” said Christian Follmann, head of the Hand Tools Division at Germany’s SUKI Corporation. “We do hope this will be our first step to explore the Vietnamese market and look for further co-operation opportunities.” — VNS
