Vietnam Airlines and Southern Airport Services Company (SASCO) jointly opened a Lotus waiting lounge at Tan Son Nhat International Airport on August 19.

HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Vietnam Airlines and Southern Airport Services Company (SASCO) jointly opened a Lotus lounge at Tan Son Nhat International Airport in HCM City on August 19.

The lounge will serve the Golden Lotus Programme's members who hold platinum and gold cards and are business class passengers of Vietnam Airlines and the SkyTeam Alliance, of which the firm is a member.

Spread over 553sq.m and with a capacity of handling 140 passengers, the lounge has a buffet area, café, reading room and an entertainment area equipped with facilities such as television and massage machines.

The living room has high-speed wi-fi, printer and fax machines to help passengers work online. It also has a small area where passengers' pets will be taken care of.

The lounge has standards of a four-star airline, as certified by international air transport rating organisation SkyTrax and the SkyTeam Alliance. — VNS
